This project aims to build a fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) that could autonomously complete a series of flight missions including avoiding obstacles, image capture and recognition, and dropping payloads. This is a multidisciplinary project. Students and faculty from both engineering school and ICS work closely together to integrate all the mechanics, avionics and software parts into a system and make it fly. The project will compete in the 2019 AUVSI SUAS competition.
