Wheel of Deception

Background

This project investigates how physical interfaces can be engineered to shape user perception and belief. The chance wheel serves as a testbed to explore the thresholds of detectability and the technical challenges of embedding control systems within objects assumed to be governed by chance.

Goal and Objectives

Week 6 - Finalize component selection and begin ordering off-the-shelf parts

Week 7 - CAD completed with selected electronics and began 3D printing the stand

Week 8 - Wheel fully assembled and all parts securely attached and tested

Week 9/10 - Begin programming

MAE 151B - Fine-tuning the code and rigorous testing
